I found a single positive Power-Essays review on Trustpilot and zero posts on SiteJabber. For example, even if speedypaper.com is a bit older, it has 250+ reviews on SiteJabber alone. I couldn’t, in good conscience, believe testimonials published on the website, so I had to test the service and come to my own conclusions.

The quick order process is probably among the main reasons for passable power-essays.com customer satisfaction rates. It only took me five minutes and three steps. First, I chose my academic level and paper type and added the topic and instructions, including the number of sources and the formatting style. Next, I set the deadline and the number of pages. I wish I paid more attention to the essay samples because the paper I got was exactly like some of them—full of repetitions and fillers but little substance. Although I had no difficulty communicating with writers, they ignored half of my instructions. For example, they only used data from 21st-century elections instead of the 20th century. They also failed to describe the limitations of debate-based election predictions. I couldn’t even add the piece I got to my study materials since it was full of typos and small errors.
The only good thing about the whole mess was that the writer followed the APA formatting guidelines.

According to the Power-Essays.com Plagiarism Free Guarantee, the service checks every paper before delivery, and the cost of the paper covers the check. However, I’d have to pay $10 to receive an official report to show to my professors.
My biggest problem with this guarantee is that I’d have to provide Turnitin plagiarism check results as evidence of foul play. And even so, I’d only receive a free revision, which doesn’t seem like a good solution for severe plagiarism issues.
Luckily, the paper I received when working on my Power-essays review was passable. I used Grammarly to check for plagiarism, and it detected around 10% of similarities. There’s no way for me to check if Turnitin would produce a large number of uncitied similarities.

As far as I’m concerned, customer support is one of the few redeeming qualities of Power Essays. I chatted with the support team a few times, and they were quick to respond and pretty helpful. As expected, they weren’t too thrilled with my revision and refund requests, but when I wanted additional info about plagiarism checks and reports, Jacob was infinitely patient despite my endless questions.

As I’ve also mentioned in this review of Poweredessays.com, the company promises zero plagiarism and full refunds if you can prove your paper was plagiarised. Overall, the service seems relatively safe, but I’d still prefer not to share my personal details.

 Revision and Money Back Policy

According to the Power-Essays revision policy, I could get free revisions within 10 days of the deadline, and each would take 24+ hours. Besides, I couldn’t open a dispute until after I received two revisions. Moreover, Power Essays wouldn’t even let me change the writer to another expert. That seemed counterintuitive since my writer didn’t follow my instructions and didn’t even bother to use a basic spellcheck.
I went through two rounds of useless revisions and opened a dispute, but I’m still awaiting the results of the essay quality assessment. Still, I doubt I’ll get even a fraction of my money back from Power-Essays.com. At best, I’ll get store credit.
